Linda Colston is a professional genealogist with over 25 years of research experience, specializing in Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan, with growing expertise in German records, particularly West Prussia/Poland. She has advanced training in DNA analysis through courses with Diahan Southard and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh, including instruction from Blaine Bettinger. Linda has also completed extensive coursework through IGHR and DAR’s Genealogy Education Program. A frequent conference attendee and presenter—including RootsTech 2023—she leads DNA interest groups and book clubs, and previously worked at the Kentucky History Center’s Martin F. Schmidt Research Library. She is a member of APG, DAR, VGS, and other local genealogical societies.
